Bearsted, United Kingdom, 17 March 2022 - In spite of the global pandemic, it has been another exciting year for the UK automotive industry, with omnichannel retailing and customer experience and retention becoming even more paramount. As the UK economy continues to get back on its feet, it is heartening to see key industry events going ahead and we were delighted to attend last night’s proceedings at one of the biggest events in the sector – the Fleet News Awards.
Ahead of the prestigious ceremony taking centre stage at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s upmarket Park Lane, at Automotive Transformation Group we were pleased to see the award finalists roll of honour contain so many of our customers.
Our Autofutura teams work with every brand shortlisted in the Leasing Company of the Year categories, with ARI and Novuna Vehicle Solutions ultimately triumphing in the < 20000 vehicles and > 20000 vehicles categories.
We were equally delighted to see a couple of our large OEM customers, Audi and Mercedes-Benz, nominated too across several categories. In the end, the former took the title for Best Compact Premium Car (A3), with the latter driving away with Best Large Van (Sprinter) and Highly Commended for EQA in Compact SUV.
Two of our forward-thinking retailer groups, Johnsons and Lookers – users of our SalesMaster products – also secured finalists places in the Fleet Dealer of the Year category, for their Fleet Services and Vehicle Solutions divisions respectively. TrustFord eventually pipping them to the post, taking the honours at the influential event overall.
We look forward to supporting our customers in the year ahead, using our data and insight services and tools to help them get shortlisted and hopefully win in multiple categories in 2023!
