We feel incredibly fortunate to be able to give back to our community by fundraising for causes closest to our colleagues’ hearts. This year we have chosen to support 3 incredible charities for 2023…
By splitting charity nominations from across the organisation into three groups, Large National, Small National and Local, we have tried to maximise our reach and ensure our support spans a wide variety of causes including mental health and social care.
We have selected Mind as our Large National Charity of Choice.
Mental Health is such an important part of maintaining good health and well-being, and in line with our sustainable development goals, we are keen to encourage positive mental health across our organisation, supporting colleagues when they need it most and customers through what looks to be another year of unprecedented change.
Mind provides advice and support to the 1 in 4 of us who will experience a mental health problem in our lifetime. They campaign to improve current services and help to break the stigma by promoting understanding.

Our Small National Charity of Choice for 2023 is Demelza.
Impacting Kent, Southeast London and East Sussex, Demelza provides clinical care, therapy specialised activities and practice support to children and young people who have serious or terminal conditions from diagnosis and day-to-day family life to time of crisis, end of life and bereavement. They also do an excellent job of supporting their friends and family during this time.

We have appointed Heart of Kent Hospice to be our Local Charity of Choice throughout 2023.
Since opening in 1991, Heart of Kent hospice has cared for over 60,000 people. They pride themselves on putting their patients at the heart of their care, tailoring clinical, emotional, and social support to every patient’s individual needs. Established just a few miles away from our HQ in Bearsted, their support spans multiple towns in the area including Maidstone, Aylesford, Tonbridge and Malling.
