Bearsted, United Kingdom, 10 January 2022 - Leading Lexus and Toyota dealer Steven Eagell Group has announced the launch of its new, upgraded website, www.steveneagell.co.uk, running across its 31 UK sites, using the award-winning NetDirector® Auto-e ecommerce platform from Automotive Transformation Group.
The Group, which comprises ten Lexus dealerships and twenty-one Toyota dealerships, is the first of Automotive Transformation Group’s customers to deploy its latest digital retailing suite. Its innovative technology platform now includes a new front-end search and vehicle detail page solution, with on-page checkout functionality to drive ecommerce sales.
Initial results are already showing significant promise, with the Group seeing its first online sale just hours after launch, before welcoming more online sales in the first week than in the first two months on a previous platform using an ecommerce plug-in.
The partnership also provides the right systems for the Steven Eagell Group to manage content easily and efficiently. Benefits of the platform include the delivery of its integrated ecommerce functionality and the upturn in sales conversion, whilst increasing efficiency and saving both time and money for the dealer and crucially their own customers.
When starting out on the 16-week project delivery, Automotive Transformation Group proved its value through their software by conducting a full benchmarking analysis. Looking at estimated enquiry levels and sales database for Steven Eagell’s existing customers, the results showed that a return to NetDirector® Auto-e would drive significantly more new and used vehicle enquiries for the business.
